“I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” -Isaiah 42

Let me clarify right from the very start that I do NOT hate anyone. I love the Pope and all Catholics just as I do all people (I really do). I love them with God’s love. I love them enough to risk being unpopular by telling them the truth of God’s Word. Though I may not like someone, I am still commanded in the Bible to love them. I have no intentions to be unkind to anyone, I simply want to preach the TRUTH of God’s Word. Undoubtedly, many people will be offended because the truth always offends those who are living in sin and darkness. Just as Jesus Christ my Saviour, I am more willing to be divided over truth than to be united by error. I cannot compromise because the Bible does not compromise. God said what He meant and meant what He said. Many of the foundational doctrines of Roman Catholicism are NOT found anywhere in the Bible. It is evil to reject the plain teachings of Scripture in exchange for the traditions of men.

God Will Not Share His Glory
God will NOT share His glory with another (Isaiah 42:8). In Exodus 20:3-5 we read that God is a jealous God, so jealous that we are commanded NOT to even BOW to a statue or image.
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God” -Exodus 20:3
God is more jealous than any husband or wife could ever be. It is a dangerous thing to commit idolatry. It is a sin to bow to any saint. Roman Catholicism twists the Bible, actually condoning the idolatrous glorifying of dead people (saints). It is a sin to pray to anyone or anything in an attempt to influence God. There is ONLY One Mediator between God and men–The Lord Jesus Christ…
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” -1st Timothy 2:5
The ONLY Way to God the Father is through God the Son. John 14:6 declares…
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
To pray or even bow to any statue, image or crucifix is wicked sin. Jesus NEVER even once asked anyone to create an image of Him dying on a cross. The Catholic Church is infested with idols, crucifixes and superstitions.
It is wicked to pray or even BOW to “Mother Mary.” Pope John Paul II is committing idolatry in the image to the left. Mary is NOT my mother, and she’s NOT your mother either. Mary is NOT the “Queen of Heaven.” Mary is NOT the mother of the church. Mary was just a godly woman chosen by God the Father to be the earthly mother of Jesus Christ, God incarnate. In heaven, Mary is no more special than any other godly woman who fears and loves God. It is wicked to teach that Mary was anything more than a godly woman. John the Baptist was called the greatest man born amongst men (Mathew 11:11), yet Jesus said that he that is LEAST in the kingdom of heaven is greater than John. The same is true with Mary or anyone else. If it were not for God’s merciful grace, we would all be hopelessly bound for hell damnation (and that includes Mary).
By the way, the teaching of Catholics that Mary was born without any “original sin” is absurd, she was born with a sinful nature just like any other human being. The Bible does NOT teach any nonsense about an “Immaculate Conception” or anything about “original sin.” The word “original” is not even found in the Bible. Mary is NOT a with Jesus.

Can The Catholics Ever Make Up Their Minds?
The Catholic crowd likes to do the same thing as the Wiccan witches do…claim that all Christians are ignorant of history. How convenient that so many heathen groups can claim legitimacy and trustworthiness based upon ambiguous history. If anything, history reveals that the Catholic religion is composed today of a series of What will be the next invention? The Roman Church says it never changes; yet, it has done nothing else but invent new doctrines which are contrary to the Bible, and has practiced rites and ceremonies taken bodily from paganism. Some scholar has found that 75% of the rites and ceremonies of the Roman Church are of pagan origin.
Note:– Cardinal Newman, in his book, “The Development of the Christian Religion,” admits that … “Temples, incense, oil lamps, votive offerings, holy water, holidays and season of devotions, processions, blessing of fields, sacerdotal vestments, the tonsure (of priests and monks and nuns), images … are all of pagan origin…” (Page 359).
HERESIES are those doctrines and practices which are contrary to the Bible. They are also called “human traditions” or “doctrines of men”. Both Peter and Paul predicted and warned that in the later times “false teachers” would rise within the Church and bring in “damnable heresies” and “doctrines of devils”. (Read II Peter 2:1-3, and I Tim. 3:2-5). Jesus rebuked the Pharisees, for they transgressed the commandments of God by keeping their traditions. “in vain,” He said, “they worship me by keeping for doctrines the commandments of men” (Matt. 15:3,9).
The real heretics therefore, are the Roman Catholics and the true orthodox are the Evangelical Christians.
BRETHREN! The Word of God commands us to get out of Babylon, saying: “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (Rev. 18:4). All true Christians will remain faithful to the religion of Christ as taught in the Bible, and heed the warning of the Apostle Paul, who said: “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other Gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Gal. 1:8).
Roman Catholicism openly admits that many of their doctrines did NOT originate from the Bible, but from the church itself. It is blasphemy to recognize the writings of the church fathers as inspired by God. For example, in 1834, the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary was proclaimed by Pope Pius IX. The Bible states that all men, with the sole exception of Christ, are sinners. Mary herself had need of a Saviour (Romans 3:23; 5:12; Psalm 51:5; Luke 1:30,46,47). In 1439, the doctrine of Purgatory was proclaimed as a dogma of faith by Council of Florence. The Bible says that Christ instituted only two ordinances, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 28:19-20; 26:26-28).The Catholic heresy of the “Assumption of Mary isn’t found in the Bible or even in their own magisterium.

Roman Catholics Reject the Commandments of God
Matthew 23:9 forbids calling any man “Father” in the sense of reverence…
“And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.” -Matthew 23:9
Catholics disobey the Bible by calling the priest “Father.” Only God is to be reverenced by such a title. The Pope is NOT the “vicar” of God, but is rather a false prophet of Satan.
1st Timothy 4:1-3 warns…
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.”
Are Catholics blind? Or perhaps Catholics just don’t read the Bible. 1st Timothy 4:1-3 clearly WARNS us about cults that forbid people to eat meat (every Friday for Catholics) or get married (Catholic celibacy laws that forbid priests from getting married).
I recently listened to a Catholic priest on TV speaking to his parish. He told the people that the best way to know what’s right on all matters of faith and morals is to just “listen to the Pope.” What a contrast to the teachings of the Word of God. The Bible declares…
“…let God be true, but every man a liar…” -Romans 3:4

The Catholic religion teaches that Jesus chose the Apostle Peter as the “rock” upon which Christ would build the Church. Matthew 16:18 reads “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” A simple cross reference of Matthew 16:18 with 1st Peter 2:7 reveals the true context, “Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner.” JESUS is the cornerstone upon which the Church is built. Even today, architects and builders realize that to build ANY structure, you MUST have a very accurate starting point upon which everything else can be built. Jesus is that Precious and Perfect cornerstone upon which everything in the Christian life is based. Surely, a flawed sinful man such as Peter could NOT have been the cornerstone of the church. In Matthew 16:23, just five verses after Jesus spoke of the “rock,” he called Peter “Satan.” There’s no way Jesus was referring to Peter as the “rock” in Matthew 16:18. Jesus Christ is the ONLY Rock upon which the Church is built…”For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1st Corinthians 3:11).

Rosary From Hell
The Catholics teach that the rosary should be performed every day. I’d like to have ANYONE show me that from the Bible. Where did God tell us to perform a rosary? The Rosary, or prayer beads, was introduced by Peter the Hermit, in the year 1090…copied from Hindus and Mohammedans. The counting of prayers is a pagan practice and is expressly condemned by Christ (Matthew 6:5-13). The rosary should NEVER be performed by anyone, it is sinful. Jesus condemned chants and recited prayers…
“But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.” —Matthew 6:7
I listened to a bunch of nuns chanting today on the EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network) cable channel. It’s a cable channel just for Catholics, also used to brainwash children with Catholic heresies. Those nuns in their penguin outfits looked so silly. It was all vain repetitions. They were just moaning, repeating the words of the head nun (the kind of nun that looked like she’d hit you with a ruler). It was so dead and formal, no life and joy of the Lord. I couldn’t help but feel sorry for those blinded people, carrying heavy religious burdens, grievous to be borne…
“For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.” —Matthew 23:4
Jesus offers restful salvation to anyone who will receive it. Salvation is simple. God doesn’t require us to perform sacraments or give our lives to the Catholic Church. Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven is within our hearts, not in temples or extravagant buildings made by men. God is a Spirit and they that worship Him MUST worship Him in Spirit and in TRUTH (John 4:24). You CANNOT worship God in heresy or tradition. Jesus offers us rest from the heavy burdens placed upon us by the religions of mankind. Religion is a sure road to hell, ONLY through Christ Jesus can anyone be forgiven and their name written in heaven.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” -Matthew 11:28
Salvation is found in Christ alone –NOT by baptism, NOT by the sacraments, NOT by church membership, NOT by good works, NOT by praying the rosary, NOT by sacrificing, NOT by religion, NOT by mass, NOT by the Pope, NOT by the priest…ONLY by Jesus Christ.
Devotion to Mary is Unscriptural
The following excellent article was written by a former devout Roman Catholic concerning the unscriptural following of Mary:
“No one who has carefully examined the events of and surrounding Fatima could possibly share your opinion of the Blessed Mother.

I was a Catholic for 34 years. I was a great devoted follower of Mary. But after I became a Christian, I went to four years of seminary and made it a point to carefully study the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church. I compared their doctrines to the truths of the Bible, and they (the Catholic Church) are without a doubt full of false doctrines, and therefore a false religion.

Mary was a wonderful person, and blessed, but she, like every other human was a sinner, before and after the birth of Christ. So was Joseph, and the Apostles. The Bible says “all” have sinned, there is not one who does good, no not one! Mary was a sinner and needed a Savior. The lie of the Catholic doctrine of the Immaculate Conception, is that Mary (just like Jesus) was born without sin. But this is a direct contradiction to the Bible.

The Catholic Church also claims that Mary, was a perpetual virgin all of her life. Yet the Bible says this is simply not true, for Mary was a virgin until Jesus was born, and then had normal sexual relations with her husband Joseph, and had other children, see Matthew 1:23-25:

“The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” – which means, “God with us.” When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he had no union with her “until” she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus. [Matthew 1:23-25]

The Catholic Church dishonors Mary by giving her honor God never intended.
There was an incident when Jesus’ mother and “brothers” (Mary’s children), went to get Jesus: “When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.” [Mark 3:21]

“Someone told Jesus, ‘Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.’ He replied to him, ‘Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?’ Pointing to his disciples, Jesus said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.'” [Matthew 12:47-50]

The point Jesus was making is that Mary, his earthly mother, had no special position or honor over any other Christian who does God’s will. Mary is blessed, as was the Apostles, they were used by God in a special way, but she was never to be worshipped and elevated as the Catholics do–this is a dishonor to her and to Christ. Mary is in heaven and doesn’t have clue what we are doing here and could care less, she is focused on Jesus her Lord and Savior. The prayers of Catholics to Mary and the other saints are an abomination and a stench in the nostrils of God, for, “there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” [1 Timothy 2:5]

See that, only one mediator! Mary is not a mediator, she can’t hear us nor intervene in any way.
You are caught up in a great deception, and will someday pay a tremendous price of eternal suffering in the Lake of Fire unless you bow down to Jesus, and Jesus alone, repenting of your sins, confessing belief in who Jesus claimed to be: God, the “ONLY” mediator, the only way of salvation, and then submitting to His Word and will.

Also, Fatima is a lie straight from the pit. Satan stages false healings, or removes his crippling effects at the right time to give “Our Lady of Fatima” the credit, in order to keep the people duped. It is like a bunch of pagans bowing down and praying to a rock. If the rock never answered a prayer, then in time they would throw the rock away, but if “once in a while” the rock would do something for them, then they will keep praying to the rock. Fatima is the Catholic rock, a plaster statue, that Satan uses once in a while to fake a healing to keep the Catholics deceived and it seems to be working.”
Catholicism is of the devil, no doubt about it. I say this from a Biblical perspective. You cannot argue with me unless you have already reject the Bible. The traditions of the Catholic Church are NOT inspired. Nearly every cult in the world claims inspiration to some writings written by heretics. The Seventh Day Adventists teach that the writings of Ellen G. White are inspired. So also do Mormons claim inspiration to the Book of Mormon. Don’t be deceived my friend, the ONLY God-breathed Book on this planet is the Bible (which I believe to be the preserved 1611 King James Bible). Satan wants to deceive you, he has already deceived the masses…
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world” -Revelation 12:9
Upon the death of Pope John Paul II, the world came together in unity to praise the departed Catholic idol. The Bible clearly teaches that the world loves it’s own…
“If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” -John 15:19
I am hated because I am not of the world, I am against the world (James 4:4). Roman Catholicism is of the world, devilish in it’s doctrines. I am on God’s side, exposing the lies and the heresies. The Bible teaches that Satan is deceiving the masses of the world. Please do not allow the Catholic religion to lead you into hell. Don’t be deceived by the Catholic priest’s familiar use of Biblical terms and lingo, you are being LIED TO! The Bible doesn’t teach many of the teachings that the Catholic Church propagates. Do your homework! Read your Bible! Pray to the Holy Spirit directly and ask God to guide you into all truth.

Tradition Verses the Bible
Here is the Scripture that I think describes Roman Catholicism the best…
“He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” -Mark 7:6-9
The Roman Catholic Church is a BIG HOAX because it teaches the traditions of men instead of the commandments of God. In so doing, the Vatican has created a non-spirit based religion that offers faithless heathens a structured system of religion from the cradle to the casket. No faith is required to be a Catholic, just do as you are told. Do you know who the first Catholic was? It was Cain who tried to impress God with his works. Able had faith and it pleased God. Listen friend, it all comes down to Catholic tradition verses the. Upon what authority does the Catholic church makes these bizarre claims? They play too many word games, thus confusing their own people. Catholic worship is false worship.
Please read through these several links and ask God to open your heart. I triple-dog dare you to find all the Catholic traditions in the Bible. You won’t!
May God bless you with discernment to see the TRUTH,
David J. Stewart

The rosary, and it’s origin is indeed and abomination unto God. It spits at His Word, it denies His will, it blasphemes His Holy Spirit, and it lies to His children. This ritual needs to be exposed as evil simply because it is evil. But before you can really understand just how evil this rosary is, you need to know if it breaks the basics of God will you need to know how the Catholic is taught to use the rosary. Is it really a repetitive prayer on top of all the other apparent evils, and if so, is it also vain prayer in more than one way? So… how does one pray the rosary of Rome?
#1 Looking at the cross, Catholics hold it while they make the sign of the cross and pray the Apostles’ Creed which is actually a summary of all the things Catholics are taught to believe.
I won’t comment on the open idolatry associated with this evil ritual, because I know most Catholics have been taught from day one to ignore that fact and do it anyway. For any Catholic reading this that needs to see the evidence of this fact, I implore you to please look in your own Catechism books and you will find Commandment #2 is completely missing. There’s a reason for that. Go to Exodus chapter 20 and read the second commandment and you will understand why it’s removed once you sit in your church and see all those kneelers in front of statues.
Getting back… The “sign of the cross” is actually the sign of Baal. Try it and find out! Place your hand on your forehead… now place it on your chest, now on your left shoulder, and finally your right shoulder. That is NOT like the cross Christ was crucified on is it? It is depicting a cross of BAAL instead. In the Catholic Encyclopedia it states the following for the “Sign of the Cross…”

Sign of the Cross
A term applied to various manual acts, liturgical or devotional in character, which have this at least in common: that by the gesture of tracing two lines intersecting at right angles they indicate symbolically the figure of Christ’s cross. (Catholic Encyclopedia http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/13785a.htm )

The obvious problem with the Roman Catholic “sign of the cross” has to do with the reality as to WHO’S cross it really is. Once you see it illustrated you will understand easily.

If the Roman Catholic “sign of the cross” were a Christian cross, you would have to make it thusly… Place your hand on your forehead… now place it on your groin, now on your left shoulder, and finally your right shoulder. That is NOT what the Roman Catholic church demands. They are actually having their congregation make the sign of BAAL on their bodies and NOT a cross that depicts the cross Christ was crucified on. Notice the shocking revelation in the following pic that most are totally unaware of.
Here you can actually see that the main area of the cross the Roman Church would have their followers use resembles that of Baal’s cross. The cross of Baal is more like the “plus sign” on your keyboard than a cross Rome used to kill people with. The arms of the cross of Baal equal in length to the vertical staff of the cross. However, in the Roman Catholic “sign of the cross” an interesting revelation comes to light. Not only do the arms equal in length to the staff, but you can also see that the horizontal portion of the cross is inverted somewhat, thus making the Roman Catholic sign of the cross more likely the inverted cross of the church of Satan. You can see this verified as their true reason for the “sign of the cross” in the following pic of Pope John Paul at a mass in Jerusalem back in the year 2000…

In essence, every Catholic that makes this “sign of the cross” is showing their allegiance to Satan and Baal at the same time. Fact is, Baal is just another name for Satan. Without going into the other fourteen points for the Rosary, one can see that right off the bat, the Rosary is an evil ritual designed by Satan himself.

As I was doing research for this page a subscriber to my Newsletter sent me the following information regarding the “sign of the cross.”

Have just received and read your article concerning the meaning of the RCC crossing themselves. I would like to share with you something I heard recently – I do not know how much truth there is to it – and, you have may have already heard this before.
At the time of Jesus’ trial when He was in to see Pilate and Pilate came out to ask of the crowd what he should do with this man, their answer being “crucify him,” the crowd was so large that those out towards the fringes could not heard due to the distance and the shoutings of others. Because they wanted to have their opinion to be known, they resorted to a visual representation of using their hands across their bodies which could be seen since they could not be heard from such a distance. Knowing how a person is spread out on a cross, they made this visual “signing” as their method of communicating their wish to “crucify him.” That is how the “signing” had it’s origin – or so I have been told. Whether it’s true or not, I do not know, but it certainly fits. ________________________________________
I have yet to be able to verify this as fact, but I felt it is important enough to mention. Looking to the history of Babylon and how they “handed down” numerous rituals through the years, it makes perfect sense that the Roman Catholic church would adopt this ritual and give it a “Christian meaning” as they have all the other doctrines of men and demons. Satan doesn’t care how you do his evil act, as long as you DO it.
#2 On this first bead of the rosary (see above pic of rosary) the Catholic is taught to pray an ‘Our Father.’ The is a prayer the Roman Catholic church assumes Jesus taught as an actual prayer. Problem here is, it is NOT a prayer at all. In Luke 11 we see the disciples asking Jesus to TEACH them to pray. The “Our Father” as Rome calls it, is actually an OUTLINE of prayer. If the “our Father’ was an actual prayer, then explain John chapter 17. That entire chapter is an actual PRAYER OF CHRIST Himself. Is He saying the “our Father” here? No He is not. Is HE using the OUTLINE set forth in the “our Father” in this prayer? Yes He is!
#3 On each of the next three beads, Catholics are taught to pray a prayer to Mary, called ‘the Hail Mary.’
Here is where the repetitive prayers start to become apparent. Fact is, ALL of the Rosary is repetitive prayer, it’s just bluntly proven here, and even more so in a moment.
#4 On this bead, Catholics are taught to announce the first mystery that this Rosary is about to be dedicated to. They are taught to reflect on what happened to Jesus at the time depicted in the particular mystery they are meditating on. On this bead the “our Father” is repeated the first time.
#5 Here the Catholics are told to pray one ‘Hail Mary’ on each of the next 10 beads. Then they are told to recite the prayer called ‘the Glory Be’ for the first time.
This is where it should become graphically apparent to the Catholic that he Rosary is evil, and openly repetitive. It goes DIRECTLY against the will of Almighty God in that it is REPETITIVE. Plus, it is truly in vain they pray this prayer. It is now Biblically understood that Mary is NOT in Heaven at this time. She is in the grave awaiting the arrival of her Savior Jesus Christ as are the rest of the faithful.
• #6 On each bead that separates the preceding ten, the ‘our Father’ is repeated.
• #7 Again, the ‘Hail Mary’ is prayed/repeated for the next ten beads. Then the ‘Glory be’ is repeated
• #8 Again on this bead the ‘our Father’ is repeated
• #9 Again, the ‘Hail Mary’ is prayed/repeated for the next ten beads. Then the ‘Glory be’ is repeated
• #10 Again on this bead the ‘our Father’ is repeated
• #11 Again, the ‘Hail Mary’ is prayed/repeated for the next ten beads. Then the ‘Glory be’ is repeated
• #12 Again on this bead the ‘our Father’ is repeated
• #13 Again, the ‘Hail Mary’ is prayed/repeated for the next ten beads. Then the ‘Glory be’ is repeated
• #14 The end of the Rosary (for this dedication) is reached. Now the Catholic is taught to pray the ‘Hail Holy Queen.’ for the “first” time.
#15 The Catholic is taught to then repeat all of the above for the next two dedications if in fact he or she is going to do an ENTIRE rosary. And as of just a few weeks back, Pope John Paul II added yet ANOTHER so called “mystery” to the rosary bringing the total to FOUR mysteries that must now be repeated, if the Catholics seeks to do an entire rosary. When I was a Catholic it took me 45 minutes to recite all three sets of mysteries, (Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious) Since the Pope has added the mystery of “Light.” “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” [-2 Corinthians 11:14] I am sure it would take at least an hour to repeat all four now.
For the Roman Catholic church to proclaim to it’s followers you MUST pray the Rosary is openly stating you MUST do exactly the opposite of what the Lord God Almighty has stated in His Word! You must SPIT in God’s face and obey MAN over God!
The Rosary is an open and graphic worship of MARY plain and simple. There are 58 beads in each Rosary as well as a dual faced medal of Mary and a crucifix of Christ upon it. Plus, at the end of each series of ten beads is a prayer called “the Glory be” that is to be repeated holding the chain between the beads. That’s 65 prayers altogether. Out of those 65 prayers, 54 of them are dedicated to the dead body of Mary in the grave. That is spiritualism and necromancy my friend! The Catholic is actually taught to communicate with the DEAD. Even the Roman Catholic church will admit there is NOT a single line of Scripture that proclaims Mary is in Heaven right now. That is why they “assumed” her into Heaven three to fifteen years after Christ ascended.

The dates assigned for it (the assumption) vary between three and fifteen years after Christ’s Ascension. -Catholic Encyclopedia

The rosary is a grand example of repetitive prayer. 65 prayers per dedication, and now that the Pope has added a “mystery” to the rosary thereby making it contain four different sets of dedications. That comes to a total of 260 prayers that must be repeated by the Catholic each time they say a complete rosary! And out of those 260 prayers, 216 of them are completely dedicated to the dead body of Mary in the grave!
The rosary is not only a repetitive as well as vain prayer, it is also the means by which the Antichrist in Rome can get the masses worshipping Mary, who in essence is actually the Pagan goddess “Queen of Heaven.” As Isaiah so perfectly warned us, Satan want’s to be worshipped as a God no matter what. Even if it means you call him “Mary.” That is no problem for him. His main concern is to get the people to break the commandments of God, and in so doing, afford him complete permission to be in their lives. Little known fact is, the Vatican has put out documentation that openly declares Mary worthy of worship.

RESEARCH # 3________________________________________
Pope dedicates his general audience to “the Virgin Mary”
May 7, 1997 (David W. Cloud, Fundamental Baptist News Service, 1701 Harns Rd., Oak Harbor, WA 98277) – On May 7 Pope John Paul II dedicated his general audience to “the Virgin Mary” and urged all Christians to accept Mary as their mother. He noted the words spoken by Jesus on the cross to Mary and to John– “Woman, behold thy son!” and “Behold thy mother!” (John 19:26,27), and he claimed that in this statement “IT IS POSSIBLE TO UNDERSTAND THE AUTHENTIC MEANING OF MARIAN WORSHIP in the ecclesial community … which furthermore is based on the will of Christ” (Vatican Information Service, May 7, 1997).
John Paul II underlined that “the history of Christian piety teaches that MARY IS THE PATH THAT LEADS TO CHRIST, and that filial devotion to her does not at all diminish intimacy with Jesus, but rather, it increases it and leads it to very high levels of perfection.” He concluded by asking all Christians “to make room (for Mary) in their daily lives, ACKNOWLEDGING HER PROVIDENTIAL ROLE IN THE PATH OF SALVATION” (Ibid.).

Jesus said rather plainly in John 14:6, “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Fact is folks, the rosary is a very evil ritual found in the Pagan church as well as many other evil organizations. For example, you can find the exact same rosary beads in many cultures of the world. Witches use them in their evil incantations as do those that practice Voodoo. Satanists use them as well as the Buddhists. That is why many years ago generations of Protestant children grew up thinking all Catholics were Pagans and extremely evil because they recited the rosary. Now? It’s beginning to be “tolerated” more so in the mainstream Protestant churches. Literal truth here is, they aren’t Protestant at all anymore anyway. They are ALL Catholics now whether they believe it or not.
Like the “Queen of Heaven” that draws many Anti-Christian churches together in these last days, one can see the rosary is also used by Satan to fuel the ecumenical charge. Pray for the Catholics. Pray that they learn they are in grave danger being in the church of Antichrist. Pray they hear the call of their Savior Jesus Christ
INRI is an acronym of the Latin inscription IESVS•NAZARENVS•REX•IVDÆORVM (Jesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum), which translates to English as “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.” The acronym commonly appears in Catholic churches above the crucifix in front of the church. Crucifixes are not taught in the Bible.
The major problem with crucifixes in the Catholic religion is the demonic teaching of the Mass that underlies the use of crucifixes in Catholicism. Catholics are taught that Jesus DIES again at every Mass ceremony. It is known theologically as the doctrine of “TRANSUBSTANTIATION.” This false doctrine of the Catholic Church teaches that the wafer and wine consumed at Mass literally turn into the physical flesh and blood of Jesus Christ, which supposedly gives to the participant renewed spiritual life and blessing.
This is totally unbiblical. Hebrews 9:12,26, “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.” Notice the word, “once.” Jesus became a sacrifice ONCE to take away the sins of mankind. Jesus DOESN’T die again at every Mass. The term “Mass” is NOT a Biblical word. The teaching of Mass is NOT found in the Word of God. It is a purely Catholic manmade doctrine fabricated in 394 A.D. The Bible teaches the ordinance of observing the Lord’s Supper, but this is only done in remembrance of Jesus crucifixion; and doesn’t in any way involved eating, digesting and eliminating Jesus in the bodily wastes.
There is nothing wrong with saying that Jesus is of Nazareth or that He is the King of the Jews. However, the use of crucifixes as objects of idolatrous worship is sinful. Exodus 20:4,5 forbids worshipping or bowing to any likeness of anything or anyone in Heaven or earth, including the Lord Himself. Jesus never asked us to worship a statue of Him, nor pray to a picture of Him, for it is idolatry to do so.

Above: Look at this huge “Virgin Mary” statue in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming! Philippians 2:10 proclaims, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.” Not one Scripture, NOT ONE, tells us to recognize Mary in any capacity whatsoever. Yet, a Catholic will say 53 “Hail Marys” in a full Rosary, and millions of times in a normal lifetime.

In Catholic tradition, there are many reported occurrences of Mary, angels, and/or saints appearing and delivering a message from God. It is likely that at least in some of these cases, the people were genuinely seeing something supernatural. While some of what is seen in various places is perhaps the work of charlatans, other apparitions were apparently authentic. However, with that said, an apparition being authentic does not mean it is a message from God or a genuine appearance of Mary, an angel, or a saint. Scripture declares that Satan and his demons masquerade as angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). Satanic deception is just as possible an explanation for the apparitions.

The only way to determine whether an apparition is a “lying wonders” or a genuine message from God is to compare the apparition with Scripture. If the teachings that are attached to these apparitions are contrary to the Word of God, the apparitions themselves are then Satanic in nature. A study of the teachings of Our Lady Fatima with its “Miracle of the Sun” is a good example.

It would indeed seem that something spectacular happened on October 13, 1917…the something did in fact appear and deliver a message. The fact that its timing coincided with what had been told to the shepherd children three months earlier would seem to tie this event with the apparitions they had been seeing over the previous months, first of the angel and later of the “Lady of Fatima.”

When one compares the message of Fatima to what the Bible teaches, it is evident that the message of Fatima combines some biblical truth with several unbiblical practices and teachings. The following paragraphs are quoted directly from a website dedicated to the “Lady of Fatima,” http://www.fatima.org. Specific words or sentences are underlined to indicate them to be unbiblical (not taught by the Bible), or anti-Biblical (contradictory to the Bible). Following the lengthy quotations, more information will be given with specific reasons for classifying these apparitions as “lying wonders.” Here then is a quoted summary of the overall message given by the Lady of Fatima:

The Message in General

“The general Message of Fatima is not complicated. Its requests are for prayer, reparation, repentance, and sacrifice, and the abandonment of sin. Before Our Lady appeared to the three shepherd children, Lucy, Francisco and Jacinta, the Angel of Peace visited them. The Angel prepared the children to receive the Blessed Virgin Mary, and his instructions are an important aspect of the Message that is often overlooked.

“The Angel demonstrated to the children the fervent, attentive, and composed manner in which we should all pray, and the reverence we should show toward God in prayer. He also explained to them the great importance of praying and making sacrifices in reparation for the offenses committed against God. He told them: ‘Make of everything you can a sacrifice and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication, for the conversion of sinners.’ In his third and final apparition to the children, the Angel gave them Holy Communion, and demonstrated the proper way to receive Our Lord in the Eucharist: all three children knelt to receive Communion; and Lucy was given the Sacred Host on the tongue and the Angel shared the Blood of the Chalice between Francisco and Jacinta.

“Our Lady stressed the importance of praying the Rosary in each of Her apparitions, asking the children to pray the Rosary every day for peace. Another principal part of the Message of Fatima is devotion to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart, which is terribly outraged and offended by the sins of humanity, and we are lovingly urged to console Her by making reparation. She showed Her Heart, surrounded by piercing thorns (which represented the sins against Her Immaculate Heart), to the children, who understood that their sacrifices could help to console Her.

“The children also saw that God is terribly offended by the sins of humanity, and that He desires each of us and all mankind to abandon sin and make reparation for their crimes through prayer and sacrifice. Our Lady sadly pleaded: ‘Do not offend the Lord our God any more, for He is already too much offended!’

“The children were also told to pray and sacrifice themselves for sinners, in order to save them from hell. The children were briefly shown a vision of hell, after which Our Lady told them: ‘You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.’

“Our Lady indicated to us the specific root of all the troubles in the world, the one that causes world wars and such terrible suffering: sin. She then gave a solution, first to individual people, then to the Church’s leaders. God asks each one of us to stop offending Him. We must pray, especially the Rosary. By this frequent prayer of the Rosary, we will get the graces we need to overcome sin. God wants us to have devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and to work to spread this devotion throughout the world. Our Lady said, ‘My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.’ If we wish to go to God, we have a sure way to Him through true devotion to the Immaculate Heart of His Mother.

“In order to move ever closer to Her, and therefore to Her Son, Our Lady stressed the importance of praying at least five decades of the Rosary daily. She asked us to wear the Brown Scapular. And we must make sacrifices, especially the sacrifice of doing our daily duty, in reparation for the sins committed against Our Lord and Our Lady. She also stressed the necessity of prayers and sacrifices to save poor sinners from hell. The Message of Fatima, to individual souls, is summarized in these things.”

there is recorded an interview between Sister Lucy (the 10 year-old shepherd girl who was among the three children who saw the apparitions in 1917) and a Father Fuentes. The interview took place in 1957. In this interview focusing on Fatima and its message, Sister Lucy says the following:

“Father, the devil is in the mood for engaging in a decisive battle against the Blessed Virgin, and the devil knows what it is that most offends God, and which in a short space of time will gain for him the greatest number of souls. Thus the devil does everything to overcome souls consecrated to God, because in this way the devil will succeed in leaving the souls of the faithful abandoned by their leaders, thereby the more easily will he seize them.

“Father, the Most Holy Virgin did not tell me that we are in the last times of the world, but She made me understand this for three reasons. The first reason is because She told me that the devil is in the mood for engaging in a decisive battle against the Virgin. And a decisive battle is the final battle where one side will be victorious and the other side will suffer defeat. Hence from now on we must choose sides. Either we are for God or we are for the devil; there is no other possibility.

“The second reason is because She said to my cousins as well as to myself, that God is giving two last remedies to the world. They are the Holy Rosary and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. These are the last two remedies which signify that there will be no others.

“The third reason is because in the plans of Divine Providence, God always, before He is about to chastise the world, exhausts all other remedies. Now, when He sees that the world pays no attention whatsoever then, as we say in our imperfect manner of speaking, He offers us with a certain trepidation the last means of salvation, His Most Holy Mother. It is with a certain trepidation because if you despise and reject this ultimate means, we will not have any more forgiveness from Heaven, because we will have committed a sin which the Gospel calls the sin against the Holy Ghost. This sin consists of openly rejecting, with full knowledge and consent, the salvation which He offers. Let us remember that Jesus Christ is a very good Son and that He does not permit that we offend and despise His Most Holy Mother. We have recorded through many centuries of Church history the obvious testimony which demonstrates by the terrible chastisements which have befallen those who have attacked the honor of His Most Holy Mother, how Our Lord Jesus Christ has always defended the honor of His Mother.

“The two means for saving the world are prayer and sacrifice. [Regarding the Holy Rosary, Sister Lucy said:] Look, Father, the Most Holy Virgin, in these last times in which we live, has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families, of the families of the world or of the religious communities, or even of the life of peoples and nations, that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary. With the Holy Rosary we will sanctify ourselves. We will console Our Lord and obtain the salvation of many souls. “Finally, devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, our Most Holy Mother, consists in considering Her as the seat of mercy, of goodness and of pardon, and as the sure door of entering Heaven.”

In the above paragraphs concerning the message that Sister Lucy felt that the apparition that appeared to her wished to communicate to the world, you find so many things that are not only not found in Scripture but are contrary to Scripture.

1) Mary is referred to as the “Most Holy Mother” and having an “Immaculate Heart.” By this they are not meaning that she is given the righteousness and holiness given to saints through the imputed righteousness of Christ but rather that she was saved from sin in every form through having been conceived in her mother’s womb without the stain of original sin. Never does the Bible refer to Mary as being sinless. Never does it refer to her having an immaculate heart. Rather, she refers to God as her Savior (Luke 1:47). This would seem to place her with the rest of humanity, but the Catholic Church holds that Mary was saved from sin through the merits of Christ by being conceived without sin and then living a sinless life. Again, never is this taught in Scripture. Rather what Scripture teaches is that there is only one exception to the truth that we are all sinners (Romans 3:10, 3:23, etc.). That single exception is Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 2:22; 1 John 3:5).

2) Sister Lucy speaks of devotion to the “Immaculate Heart” of Mary and saying the rosary as the “last two remedies to the world.” She also states that there is no problem that cannot be solved by saying the Rosary. It is the teaching of Fatima that it is through the same that will lead to the saving of many souls. Again, never is such a teaching found in Scripture. The Rosary’s main prayer is the “Hail, Mary” which is repeated fifty times. The first half of it is a quote from Scripture of the greeting of the angel to Mary, “Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb…” but the second half says, “…Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.” Besides giving Mary a title which Scripture does not, it then asks Mary to pray for us. Indeed, Catholics not only see Mary as the one through whom ALL of God’s grace flows, and the one who intercedes to her Son on our behalf, but Catholics also direct prayers to her to deliver people from sin, from war, etc. Pope Paul II’s prayer from the early 1980’s to Mary is an example of such. In this prayer he repeatedly pleads to Mary to “deliver us” from nuclear war, famine, self destruction, from injustice, etc.

Again, never do you find a godly person in Scripture praying to any one but God nor asking for intercession by anyone but those still living on this earth. Rather, Scripture directs us to pray to God (Luke 11:1-2; Matthew 6:6-9; Philippians 4:6; Acts 8:22; Luke 10:2, etc.)! He entreats us to come boldly unto the throne of grace (His throne) that we may find grace and help in time of need (Hebrews 4:14-16). God promised us that the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us according to the will of God with groanings that cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26). Why do we need to go through a saint, angel or Mary, especially considering the fact that neither the example of doing so nor the command of doing so is ever given in Scripture? There is only the repeated example of two things in Scripture:

a) Prayer is made to God alone (1 Corinthians 11:5; Romans 10:1; Romans 15:30; Acts 12:5; Acts 10:2; Acts 8:24; Acts 1:24; Zechariah. 8:21-22; Jonah 2:7; 4:2, etc.)

b) Requests for prayer are made only to the living (1 Thessalonians 5:25; 2 Thessalonians 3:1; Hebrews 13:18, etc.)

In addition, nowhere is it taught that Mary is all-seeing, all-hearing, and omniscient (or nearly so) as she would have to be to hear and respond to the multitude of prayers that are directed toward her from the many Catholics who pray to her simultaneously around the world. Instead Scripture teaches that both angels and the spirits of the dead are finite beings, able to only be in one place at a time (Daniel 9:20-23; Luke 16:19f.).

3) One of the repeated messages of Fatima is the call for personal “reparation” or “penance.” This Catholic concept teaches that we must make amends to God and to Mary for the sins we have committed against them. Repeating one of the phrases from the “The Message in General,” the angel told the children to “Make of everything you can a sacrifice and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended…” A reparation is a “expiation … something done or paid as amends; compensation.” This ties in with the Roman Catholic teaching of temporal punishment which a person can take care of through penance now or through time spent in purgatory later. The Bible NEVER speaks of the need to make “reparation” for our sins or doing “penance” to pay for our sins. Rather, what it teaches is that we are to offer our lives as living sacrifices to God in response and in gratitude for all of the mercies He has shown us in salvation (Romans 12:1-2). When a person becomes a Christian, His sins are forgiven and paid for in full by Christ. There remains no further payment that can be made for them, no further expiation required.

4) A key aspect of the Lady of Fatima is the bowing down before and venerating the images associated with the apparition. Throughout the entire Bible, you will find that any time that someone bows down before one of the “saints” or angels, they are told to get up and to stop. Only when done to “the Angel of the Lord” (a pre-incarnate appearance of Christ), or before Jesus or God the Father is such veneration accepted. Catholics make a distinction between “worshiping” God and “venerating” Mary and the saints; but when John the Apostle prostrates himself before an angel, the angel does not ask, “Are you worshiping me or venerating me?” The angel simply tells him to stop and to “worship God” (Revelation 19:10). Likewise, when Peter was being “venerated” (prokuneo – the Greek word that the Catholic Church uses for “veneration” as opposed to “adoration” which only God deserves) by Cornelius in Acts 10:25, Peter tells Cornelius, “Stand up, I myself am also a man.” I might note that his same word is used in the Revelation passage mentioned as well. Thus, the repeated example that we have of an angel or “saint” being “honored” is accompanied by a command to stop!

Thus, praying to Mary is contrary to the Scriptural admonition to pray to God and the Scriptural example to do so. It is also illogical to substitute praying to an all-loving, omniscient, omnipotent God (Psalm 139; Hebrews 4:14-16), to pray to some saint or Mary, for which there is no Scriptural evidence that they can even hear prayers. To pray to saints and to Mary on a worldwide basis is to attribute to them attributes of omnipresence and omniscience which God alone possesses…this truly is idolatry!

5) Lastly, concerning the “Miracle of the Sun,” there are repeated cases in which “lying wonders” are spoken of in Scripture (Exodus 7:22; 8:7; 8:18; Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Revelation 13:13-14). God even tells us in Deuteronomy 13:1f. that when someone gives a prediction that comes true or a “sign” that seems miraculous, but he is teaching the worship of strange gods, to not give heed to him but rather to treat him as a false prophet.

For a Christian, the “content of faith” ought to be the Bible and what it teaches (Isaiah 8:20; 2 Timothy 3:16). And while Catholics may argue that the “Lady of Fatima” is not calling on us to worship “strange gods” but to worship the true God, the idea of venerating Mary to such an extent that her “Immaculate Heart” is put on the same level of devotion as Jesus’ “Sacred Heart” is undeniably the exaltation of a godly woman to a position never given her in Scripture…that of equality with God; for to honor her as one would Christ is to do just that. Likewise, to focus on Mary to such an extent that we spend more time praying to her than to God is also idolatrous, especially in light of the direct commands of Scripture to pray to God and the complete silence in Scripture concerning any exaltation of Mary.

Was the “Miracle of the Sun” a lying wonder? Based on biblical teaching, it would certainly seem so. Satan has no problem mixing enough truth to make a teaching seem right with just enough error to damn souls to hell. Where is it ever mentioned throughout the whole message of Fatima the Gospel of salvation by grace through faith in Christ…the message that is repeated throughout the whole of the New Testament?

Where is it ever mentioned that salvation is only through Christ’s finished work on Calvary and that our works have no merit apart from Him? Penance and making offerings for reparation of our sins are antithetical to Christ’s finished work on Calvary and of our need for salvation by grace alone through faith in Him alone. The calling upon Mary and her Immaculate Heart and the saying of the rosary as the ultimate and final means of saving souls flies in the face of such biblical truths as Acts 4:12 and 1 Timothy 2:5. “To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them” (Isaiah 8:20).
